Google is based in the United States. Therefore, a transfer of personal data to the USA cannot be excluded. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection for data transfers to the USA. In addition, data transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission. For Switzerland, the level of protection recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) is considered equivalent.
